Who we are
Bhaktivedanta International Gurukul is a Vedic integrated and Bhartiya Shiksha Board curriculum-based, co-educational, English-medium school at Bhaktivedanta Go-Gram, Khusulupara, in Chirang district of Assam. Classes run from Nursery to Class X.
The Gurukul is being established with the sacred vision of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda: to create an ideal educational institution where modern education and timeless Vedic values work together for the welfare of the child and society.
Why Gurukula education

Modern education often prepares a child for a profession. Gurukula education prepares a child for life. A child should learn not only how to earn, but also how to live, how to think, how to serve, how to respect and how to become responsible.

Students are encouraged to cultivate truthfulness, cleanliness, discipline, compassion, self-control, respect, humility, responsibility and a spirit of service, the qualities exemplified by Prahlāda Mahārāja.
